Diego Luna Talked About Movie Industry

The actor Diego Luna said Tuesday that Mexico has a film industry almost ghost who lives in the official support, subsidies (Article 226 of the Income Tax), not ticket sales, marketing rights TV or DVD’s. Luna was one of the participants at the conference to announce the launch strategy of ‘Revolution’, consisting of 10 short films feature that is part of the eighth edition of International Film Festival Morelia 2010.

The actor and producer emphasized that it must create a strategy that leads to the emergence of a real film industry in which the filmmakers, all members read, able to survive.

The conference was attended, in addition to Luna, Mariana Chenillo, Patricia Riggen, Carlos Reygadas, Gerardo Naranjo, Fernando Eimbcke, Amat Escalante, the absentees were Gael García Bernal, Rodrigo Plá and Rodrigo Garcia, who formed part of the ‘Revolution’ who have joined Paul Cross, producer of Canana Films.
